Helen is one of the biggest energy companies in Finland. At Taiste I’ve been a UX Designer in their team, continuously improving the look and feel of Helen’s digital services. My main responsibility has been Helen’s web services.
Helen has a several web services with hundreds of pages. That’s why it’s important that all the information can be reached easily. My job has included streamlining the site structure and focusing on purchase flows like buying electricity.
A lot of the design work has included service design work in co-operation with Helen's own service design team. It’s always important to back up design decisions with user research and data.
As part of Helen design team I have also contributed in building Helen’s design system and its structure. Helen has many different digital services and developing a design system has helped to unify their look and feel.
At Helen I’ve had a change to be part of creating new kind of products and services. Many of them are linked to green energy transition (solar power, wind energy, electric vehicles and so on) which I find meaningful and important.
Design and development of Helen’s web services has been a close operation between Helen’s own team, Taiste and Tietoevry.
